About me

I completed my BSc in Geography at the University of Durham, and then went on to do an MPhil in Polar Science at Cambridge, and a PhD in Environmental Science at Reading.

Currently I’m a researcher at the University of Exeter (click here for my staff page), working on ecosystem resilience. My areas of interest are peatlands, remote sensing, and the impacts of climate change and human land use.

My blog is a combination of my tips for PhD life and beyond, and short posts about different aspects of my work.
